How can a non-local person set up a company in Macao?

Apply for a business-name certificate
The public general procedure starts with a business-name admissibility certificate from the Commercial and Movable Assets Registry.

Execute establishment documents and register
The official page lists the establishment deed/contract and commercial-enterprise registration. Check the company type, signatures, shareholders and management material as required.

Declare commencement, then handle separate matters
The general procedure includes a commencement declaration to the Financial Services Bureau. Any prior sector approval, investment residence or employment permissions require separate checks.
